18x24 Poster Paper Print designed by local artist Baron Batch.
Batch, who is known for the gritty, stylistic blend of Pop Art and Expressionism he calls “Pop-X,” was inspired by the transformation of Pittsburgh when he created the 2015 poster.
“The design we came up with is symbolic of where the growth of Pittsburgh is going,” Batch said. “I see Pittsburgh as a city that is becoming increasingly diverse with a future as bright as any, and that is what the multitude of colors represent. I see Pittsburgh as a city where each day you have to put on your shoes and go to work. And I love this city because it is a place where hard work does pay off."
Proceeds from poster sales will benefit the Kids of STEEL program and several of its community initiatives.
